The subsequent assertion has been proffered by the publisher of the aforementioned publication:

The following fundamental principles should be considered when reading about Hong Kong.

1. Despite the tendency of ideologues, whether compensated for positive or negative roles, to be members of the ruling class and its established institutions—including various media outlets—to discredit remarks made by the proletariat or precariat as modern slaves, the truth is otherwise. The more deprived individuals are of rights and powers, the more necessary it becomes to voice their concerns and take a stand against the so-called mainstream, as they are the primary targets of misconduct by the so-called "elites." The voiceless are inherently defenseless.

2. It is a grave error to make a perfunctory comparison between the Hong Kong government[1] and the central government of China/CCP[2]. These entities are not equivalent in terms of political and economic interests. The former is engaging in political maneuvering within the overarching framework and power dynamics of the 1+5 configuration, which encompasses China and the Five Eyes[3] intelligence alliance. Moreover, the economic underpinnings of the HKSARG are firmly entrenched in the long-standing interests of this city's legacy, which can be traced back to the predominantly unaltered colonial system of British Hong Kong[4]. Hong Kong persists in its role as a pivotal British influence outpost in China. The "One Country, Two Systems"[5] model, therefore, signifies a political framework entailing the establishment of a substantial divide between the influence and governance of the central government[6]of China and the interests of local vested interests.

3. It is imperative to relinquish the prescribed interpretive framework of color politics[7], which is exemplified by the blue and yellow. The rationale is straightforward: the blue[8] and yellow[9] factions are both constituents of the same ruling class and local vested interests. Beyond their assigned roles, there is no significant distinction between them. The blue is primarily associated with two-faced compromisers, while the officially eradicated yellow is linked to troublemakers, radicals, and demonstrators. Since 2021, there has been a significant shift in the political landscape concerning color politics[10]. This shift can be attributed to the ousting and eradication of their legislative counsellors from the establishment. Despite the implementation of this legislative reform, the fundamental structure of the organization remains unaltered. The primary constituents of the urban landscape are constituted by the real estate oligarchs[11], the constituent capitalists of Vision 2047 Foundation[12], and the HKGCC[13]. The crux of the argument is that these individuals exhibit a deficiency in authentic patriotism, a sentiment that is intricately intertwined with the concept of the nation as China. There are several reasons for this phenomenon. First, capitalism is boundless and stateless in its nature; it is a global phenomenon in contrast to nationalism. Secondly, the term "capitalism" is not explicitly defined in the fundamental law (the Basic Law)[14]. Consequently, it pertains exclusively to the governance by the capitalist system, rather than the governance by the people. In essence, the de facto dual governance system currently exists in China. Hong Kong can be depicted in a variety of ways. One perspective is as a free-eating site for globalist financial alligators. Another perspective is as a major investment bank or a major speculative real estate entity. In this case, the HKSARG can be depicted as an ATM, a building management office, or a group of "God-selected" alligator-feeders. The people are the fish on the chopping board, in a literal sense.

4. In summary, as a Hong Kong permanent resident, it became evident to me that I possessed the knowledge necessary to identify the origins or primary causes of the century's disasters in this city. The first is the anti-extradition law amendment bill movement, which was founded by members of Vision 2047. This movement is symbolized by the Hong Kong-America Center[15], and it has infiltrated liberal studies in universities to systematically produce protestors. The termination of the bill was precipitated by a scandal involving Carrie Lam's leaked voice recordings[16]. The foundation membership also includes Mark L. Clifford[17], a director of Next Digital[18], the publisher of Jimmy Lai[19]'s pro-democracy Apple Daily[20] newspaper. The aforementioned newspaper was closed by the government in 2021. Concurrently, the foundation also has Victor Fung Kwok-king[21], a pro-establishment figure who played a pivotal role in systematically producing the protestors. The subsequent challenge pertains to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The veracity of this claim can be ascertained by referring to the report[22] published by the World Health Organization (WHO). The virus was introduced to Wuhan[23] through the frozen food supply chain, as no susceptible hosts were identified in the environment. Through tracking and inquiry of these 26 wholesalers, partial information was obtained about 17 upstream wholesalers from nine provinces and cities in China who imported cold-chain products into the Huanan market[24]. Further trace-back revealed that, in addition to China, a total of 20 countries and regions were involved in the importation of cold-chain products, encompassing 29 distinct types of products. Information regarding the product name, import custom, source province (domestic) or country (international), and product quantity was collected. A comprehensive collection and review of data concerning all imported cold-chain products in Wuhan from September to December of 2019 was conducted. This review encompassed a total of 440 distinct cold-chain products, originating from 37 distinct import source countries or regions. Therefore, the virus was introduced from an external source to China. However, further research is required to determine the origin countries, as China itself has been cleared. The third issue pertains to the Wang Fuk Court Fire, which was initiated as a result of the systematic coordination of maintenance tender practices within the city[25]. This practice has given rise to numerous conflicts among the population. In this instance, Prestige Construction & Engineering Co.[26] was involved. The entity in question is limited in its capacity as a major criminal entity due to the following sub-factors:

- The obsolete local use of bamboo scaffolding.

- The fraudulent practice of using genuine and fake construction safety netting.

- The malpractice of courting windows with flammable material.

- The neglected malfunction of the alarming system.

- The unsatisfactory firework facilities in court buildings.

- The direct cause of the suspicious littering of cigarette butts on the net.

The aforementioned factors are beyond the capacity of a single company and are inextricably linked with the corrupt environment and capitalist ecology of this city.

In the context of Hong Kong, it is imperative to bear the aforementioned principles in mind while engaging with the daily news. Failure to do so can result in the facilitation of manipulation, leading to the inadvertent support of misguided agendas. The primary objective is to avert such critical missteps.

The publisher extends its gratitude to the true readers and to all individuals who have procured the books. The neoclassical studies will persist in order to reinvigorate the essence of patriotism.

[1] The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (hereinafter referred to as the Hong Kong Government or HKSAR Government) is the executive branch of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The institution was formally established on July 1, 1997, in the aftermath of the handover of Hong Kong. The Chief Executive is the head of government, and together with the principal officials, constitutes the Executive Council, which functions as the government's de facto cabinet.

[2] The Communist Party of China (CPC), widely referred to as the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), is the founding and ruling party of the People's Republic of China (PRC). The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) was founded in 1921 and emerged victorious in the Chinese Civil War against the Kuomintang. In October 1949, the CCP proclaimed the establishment of the People's Republic of China (PRC) under the chairmanship of Mao Zedong. Subsequent to this historical juncture, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has exercised absolute authority over China, wielding exclusive control over its military and law enforcement entities. As of 2024, the CCP has amassed a membership exceeding 100 million individuals, thereby positioning itself as the second largest political party in terms of membership globally.

[3] The Five Eyes (FVEY) is a strategic intelligence alliance between five English-speaking countries—the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand—formed after World War II to share signals intelligence (SIGINT) under the UKUSA Agreement. This powerful partnership, rooted in a shared history and democratic values, allows for extensive cooperation in collecting, analyzing, and sharing vast amounts of intelligence, enhancing national security for all members through integrated programs and technology. This cooperation was revealed to the public by Edward Snowden in 2013.

[4] Hong Kong's status as a British colony and territory persisted from 1841 to 1997. This period of governance was established in the aftermath of the Opium Wars through the ratification of treaties that ceded Hong Kong Island and Kowloon. Subsequently, the New Territories were leased, marking a phase of British administration in Hong Kong. The transition of sovereignty from the United Kingdom to China in 1997 marked the conclusion of British rule in Hong Kong. However, the region continues to maintain significant cultural, legal, and economic ties with Britain. A notable aspect of these relations is the prevalence of British National (Overseas) (BN(O)) status among Hong Kong residents, which has contributed to recent migratory patterns toward the United Kingdom.

[5] The "One Country, Two Systems" constitutional principle enables the coexistence of mainland China's socialist system and Hong Kong's capitalist system, while concurrently conferring upon Hong Kong (and Macau) a high degree of autonomy, its own legal system (common law), currency, and customs. This unique framework, established in 1997 for Hong Kong, operates within the "One China" framework, ensuring a high degree of autonomy while Beijing oversees defense and foreign affairs. The system, embedded in Hong Kong's Basic Law, enables Hong Kong to maintain its distinct economic, legal, and social systems for a period of 50 years following the handover. However, its interpretation and implementation have undergone mounting pressure from Beijing, particularly with regard to national security and political freedoms.

[6] The central government of the People's Republic of China, formally designated as the State Council (or Central People's Government), functions as the nation's primary administrative entity, operating analogous to a cabinet. This body is presided over by the Premier and is responsible for overseeing the ministries and commissions that execute policies established by the National People's Congress (NPC) and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Key bodies include the National People's Congress (NPC; the legislative branch), the State Council (the executive branch), the Central Military Commission (CMC; the military), and the judiciary. These bodies operate under the overarching authority of the Communist Party of China (CPC), with the president—who also serves as the head of the CPC and the CMC—holding significant power.

[7] The concept of color politics involves the utilization of colors to symbolize political parties, ideologies, or movements, facilitating voter recognition and facilitating the communication of abstract concepts. Common associations include red for left/socialism, blue for conservatism, and green for environmentalism, though these vary globally (e.g., in the United States, red corresponds to the Republican Party, while blue corresponds to the Democratic Party). Furthermore, the use of colors can serve as a medium for conveying coalitional relationships, as evidenced by the symbolic association of red and green, or can be employed to underscore racial dynamics. This notion is substantiated by research conducted on the implications of skin tone on political outcomes, which underscores systemic concerns that extend beyond mere party branding.

[8] The pro-Beijing, pro-establishment, or pro-China political alignment in Hong Kong is characterized by a general endorsement of the policies directed towards Hong Kong by the Beijing central government and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The term "pro-establishment camp" is frequently employed to denote the broader segment of the Hong Kong political arena that maintains a closer relationship with the establishment, specifically the governments of the People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR). Pro-Beijing politicians are designated as "patriots" by pro-Beijing media outlets and "loyalists" by the opposing pro-democracy camp.

[9] The pro-democracy camp, also referred to as the pan-democracy camp, constitutes a political alignment in Hong Kong that advocates for enhanced democratic reforms, specifically the implementation of universal suffrage for the Chief Executive and the Legislative Council as stipulated by the Basic Law within the "One Country, Two Systems" framework.

[10] The 2021 Hong Kong electoral changes were initiated by the National People's Congress (NPC) on March 11, 2021, with the stated objective of "amending electoral rules and improving the electoral system" of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) for its Chief Executive (CE) and the Legislative Council (LegCo). The changes were implemented to ensure a system in which only "patriots," according to the Chinese definition, govern Hong Kong.

[11] Hong Kong's "Big Four" property developers, renowned for their substantial market share and land holdings, are widely recognized as Sun Hung Kai Properties (SHKP), CK Asset Holdings (CKA), Henderson Land Development, and New World Development (NWD). These entities represent the formidable enterprises of the Li, Kwok, Lee, and Cheng families, who wield significant influence in the city's real estate sector.

[12] The Vision 2047 Foundation is a Hong Kong-based group of long-term international residents, established in 1989. The Foundation focuses on fostering understanding of Hong Kong's future as China's global city by facilitating candid, diverse discussions among visitors, policymakers, and locals. The Foundation promotes stability and prosperity for Hong Kong without taking institutional stances on issues. They function as a platform for candid discourse, particularly among international figures, emphasizing respectful exchange under the Chatham House Rule to cultivate knowledge and establish relationshipsThis clandestine society is formally recognized as a limited company, yet it persists in functioning as a pivotal institution of the ruling class. The business registration number is C0333921. [13] The Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce (HKGCC) was founded on May 29, 1861, and is the oldest and one of the largest business organizations in Hong Kong. The organization boasts approximately 4,000 corporate members, collectively comprising approximately one-third of Hong Kong's workforce. It is a self-funding, not-for-profit organization that promotes and represents the interests of the Hong Kong business community. A fundamental aspect of its mission entails the formulation of recommendations aimed at enhancing the business environment. To this end, its 23 industry-specific committees engage in continuous analysis and make regular submissions to officials and policymakers within the Government of Hong Kong.

[14] The Basic Law of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China is a Chinese national law that delineates the system of government of Hong Kong as a Special Administrative Region. The law is comprised of nine chapters, 160 articles, and three annexes. It implements the fundamental policies declared by China in the 1984 Sino-British Joint Declaration that would apply to Hong Kong once British colonial rule ended in 1997.

[15] The Hong Kong-America Center (HKAC) was a US-backed organization with links to American universities and funded by US sources. Its stated aim was to foster academic exchange; however, it became controversial for its alleged promotion of pro-Western and secessionist views, its influence on Hong Kong education, particularly Liberal Studies, and its support for anti-government movements such as "Occupy Central." The center ceased operations around 2020 amid heightened tensions between China and the US.

[16] A significant "sound leak" occurred in late August 2019, when a recording of a closed-door meeting with business leaders was published, revealing Lam's statements regarding her resignation, her self-blame for the political crisis, and her perception of limited options due to Beijing's control. The revelation of this information transpired in early September 2019, giving rise to a state of controversy. However, Lam subsequently elucidated that she had not formally tendered her resignation and had instead opted to remain in her position.

Founded by Jimmy Lai, the company was liquidated in late 2021 following the suspension of its shares in 2021 due to police raids and national security investigations. This led to its formal delisting in 2023, leaving its operations and legacy intertwined with political controversies in Hong Kong and Taiwan.
